BUSINESS LEADERS WILL DISCUSS CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY AT
MAY 8TH CAPITOL HILL BRIEFING

OAKLAND, Calif.—Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) and Redefining Progress will sponsor a Capitol Hill briefing to explore how entrepreneurship must be a key component of any solution to the climate change problem. The briefing will also explore how a market-based climate strategy would provide growth opportunities for some companies, be neutral for many, and generate revenue that could aid the industries, workers, and publics most affected by the transition.

The briefing, Climate Change Policies and Business Opportunities, will be held on Wednesday, May 8, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room SD-406 (The Committee on Environment and Public Works Hearing Room).

WHAT: Climate Change Policies and Business Opportunities briefing including two panels: 1) Climate Change: Entrepreneurial Challenges and Solutions, and 2) Why Taking Action on Climate is Good for the Economy.
